Entrance to the house
The guest house has two entrances, one with steps and one with a ramp. The ramped access is along the house on a dirt path to the terrace. The main door swings outward. There are no edges or steps.
Rooms
The guest house has 2 very similar rooms with a double bed, a bunk bed, a hammock and two balconies.
The doors of the rooms are hinged and those of the balconies are sliding doors that allow a free passage of 119 cm.
None of the doors have edges or steps. There is a space between the double bed and the cabin for a wheelchair user to move around and transfer to the bed. There is a free area where a circle of 1.5 m in diameter can be inscribed, so that a wheelchair user can turn around comfortably.
Bathrooms
The guest house has 2 bathrooms that are very similar. The door is hinged with a free width of 80 cm, without edges or steps. The bathroom is quite large (a circle of 1.5 m in diameter can be inscribed for wheelchair maneuvering) and allows comfortable use by people with reduced mobility who do not require assistance and are independent.
The toilet is 40 cm high and has no support bars or lateral transfer area. The sink is 86 cm high, has a T-type faucet, and does not have enough space underneath to allow for a frontal approach.
The shower is a large area, with no tiered or step, lever faucet, no grab bars, but a wooden chair is available. The soaps are too high for a wheelchair user.
Kitchen
The access door to the kitchen is sliding and has no edges or steps. It has a central table that can be moved and low furniture around the internal perimeter. It is equipped with a refrigerator, gas stove and blender.
Living area
The dining table and the living room are located on the terrace. This is a living area that is at the same level of the whole house. It is an open area where all the furniture can be moved to facilitate the mobility of wheelchair users, if necessary.
